I do enjoy watching world class football, one of the most entertaining and dramatic team games, and the world cup 2010 has not been an exception. The expectations were very high, though almost every team played overly conservatively - mathematically, based on their fixtures, some of the tactical decisions have been worryingly cautious. Obviously the lack of goals and the lack of shots on goal, almost no striker scored much (except Forlan). Many teams, especially ones with supposedly the most talent (England, Germany and Italy excepted), failed to make any sort of real impact on the field. I really enjoyed watching Ghana play for their energy and enthusiasm, and their loss in quarter-finals was the most dramatic event of the tournament. Else I liked much tv high speed closeup repeats that brought you closer to the players, showing their emotions in every tiniest detail. And finally, the bitterness of loss and the glorious joy of victory, this time the fate favored Spain, congratulations to Spain, you are the World Football Champions.
